Living in our American Dream world, it is extremely easy to get caught up in the consumeristic lifestyle. Every channel and every billboard tells us that we should buy this product because it we need it to be cool or complete. We can’t live without it. But once we step back and see that there is so much more to life than the newest trend in clothing or gadget, we can see all the needs all over the world! Hopefully then we will see and grab the opportunities that we have to really make an impact in our world that is so much bigger than me.
Here are a a couple of our favorite charities that we support!
It’s hard to believe it sometimes, especially considering how we live, that there are one billion people all over the world that don’t have access to clean water. That’s 1 out of 8 people! charity: water was founded to bring clean and safe drinking water to these people. Every little bit helps. Give up your birthday presents for a year and see the difference it makes!

World Vision is an organization dedicated to working with children, families, and their communities worldwide to reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty and injustice. You can provide a child with clean water, nutritious food, health care, education and more for about $1 a day! You will even get letters and progress updates from your child throughout the year!
