We live in a very self-centered world today.  We spend money on ourselves.  We keep driving past the broken down car.  We roll up our window and try not to make eye contact with the homeless person on the corner in need.  We “talk on the phone” as we enter a store so we don’t get stopped by the charity.

We live for ourselves.

As blogging has become more and more popular so has the number of myname.coms.  While there is nothing wrong with having yourname.com, I felt the need to get away from it.  There is so much more than could be accomplished and bigger ways that God could use this outlet than just whatever I am thinking the day before.  Whether or not God uses this site for more than just my creative writing outlet remains to be seen, but I know that I want to be a part of something that is more than what I am capable of doing.

My dream is that this becomes something that is bigger than just my writings.  A community.  A family.  Something bigger than just myname.com.
